Fraunhofer USA Internships

My internship at Fraunhofer CMI has been one of the most enriching experiences of my academic journey. My main project focused on understanding bacterial tolerance in clinical isolates under stress conditions, which allowed me to deepen my expertise in microbiology and data analysis. At the same time, I had the opportunity to explore other fields, such as tissue engineering, which significantly broadened my skills set.

Fraunhofer CMA has offered me a great opportunity to enhance my expertise in the development of AI applications and the testing of complex software solutions.

Looking back, my intern experience has been really good. The CMA people are awesome and it's cool to see so many different and exciting projects going on at the same time.

Joining Fraunhofer, I was excited at the opportunity to learn and grow. I had certain areas in mind which I wanted to improve in, such as front-end design and user experience development, as well as technologies like large language model frameworks....

I am very happy about my choice to come here. The international working environment is very friendly and there are many ways to network. I’m liking Boston so far because of its enormous quantity of students, their passion for sports, and all the social as well as academic events they hold.

Working for an illustrious institution such as Fraunhofer CCD as a part of the systems group, this has allowed me to grow not only on a professional level, but also on a personal level.
